South Florida’s Storm Panels are precision, roll-formed structural panels available in various gauges of aluminum for use over glass doors, windows, and storefronts. Our storm panels are designed to provide the maximum in shutter protection at the lowest possible cost. This system usually incorporates a header and sill, which allow easy installation and removal.
Built with strength in mind, the headers and sills are made from heavy-duty extruded aluminum. Engineered to withstand years of exposure, these headers and sills are electrostatically painted and come in a variety of colors.

Aluminum Header & Sill:

Headers fasten to walls, cantilevers, or ceilings. Sills fasten to walls, slabs or floors. Both headers and sills may be manufactured for permanent or removable installation.

Operation:

Removable Storm Shutters can be installed by inserting storm panels into a pre-installed header and fastened with washer wing nuts that hold storm panels firmly to studded angle. For direct wall mount, panelmates or keyhole washers and machine screw anchors may be used in place of a header and sill.

South Florida’s Storm Panels stack approximately 9 panels per inch of space.
